Today is the first day of Autumn. Fall makes me think of back to school, sharpened pencils, crunchy leaves and warm scarves. The only way I’m going back to school is if I finally get my letter from Hogwarts. To celebrate the change in season and my insatiable appetite for HP once summer is gone, I’d like to focus this blog post on a newer item in the shop the Marauder’s Book Prints:
When I first truly fell in love with the Harry Potter books was when I read the origins of the Marauder’s map and the story of friendship between Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, Sirius Black and James Potter. Perhaps because of this small gilmpse into the generation before The Prisoner of Azkaban is still my pick for one of the strongest books in the series.
These prints are inspired by the quartet of anamagi; Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs. The respective animal that each of these four friends would turn into and wander the grounds of Hogwarts school. Each is printed on a retired library book page of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban where the Marauders first appeared in the story. While all the characters are members of the Gryffindor house, the chosen colors reflect the individual characteristics they possess from all the Houses of Hogwarts. You need these patronuses to protect the walls of the Harry Potter mega fan in your life.
Sold as a set of four or single printed and framed pieces each page measures 5.25″x 7.5″ in black ink and the following colors:
The print is mounted in the 8″ X 10″ black, pine float frame. Included with the frame are wire table stand and hook and screws for mounting. The text from the book and the image itself can be seen from all angles. The page of the book is chosen at random and the only one of its kind.
Individual frames are available for purchase for $25 each + Shipping
Set of four for $85 + Shipping
